Review: Cappa House, Beara Peninsula, Ireland

Cappa House, Beara Peninsula, County Cork, Ireland

Our family of five spent 7 perfect days at Cappa House on the Beara Peninsula.  Cappa House offers 3 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and sleeps 8.   The house is beautiful, very clean, with comfortable furniture and nice bedding.  The kitchen has everything that you could need, including good appliances.  Fran is a wonderful host and has included small touches that you don’t often find in a rental, including a large DVD library, a closet full of toys and board games.

The location is perfect!  The views are wide and beautiful (much better than she could capture in the listing) and it’s a lovely walk from the house through her farmland to the beach.  The kids loved Fran’s cows and were able to feed them every morning. The house is located on the Ring of Beara, which is breathtaking. (Check out our article on it: Things to do on the Beara Peninsula with Kids)

We highly recommend Cappa House and hope to return on our next trip to Ireland.
