One coast, checked properly, with children in tow.

Where to stay

The hotels

Nine beachfront hotels in the Cancún Hotel Zone. Most run on an all-inclusive plan, though at some of them it is an extra you buy on top of the room. The rating, the nightly price and the children's facilities on every card were read off the hotel's own live listing on 4 September 2026. They are grouped by price below, and the two gaps between the groups — $80 and $137 — are too wide to be one night's noise.

The cheap end

$130–155 a night

Four hotels inside $25 of each other, and the group where you have to read the board line before anything else: at Emporio all-inclusive is an option you buy rather than the default, and at NYX the listing shows buffet breakfast rather than a full plan.

Prices are the cheapest total on Trip.com including taxes and fees for two adults, one night, 4–5 September 2026, checked on 4 September 2026. They move constantly; treat them as a way to rank these hotels against each other, not as a quote.

The thing nobody mentions

Will there be seaweed on the beach?

Sargassum is a brown seaweed that drifts in from the open Atlantic and piles up along the waterline. In a bad week it lies in banks a foot deep, it smells, and swimming is off. It is the single thing most likely to spoil a beach week here — and no booking site will mention it, because it isn't the hotel's fault. So here is the Hotel Zone, month by month.

2026 broke records. February was already at record highs for the month, March ran 15–20% above March 2025, and June set a Caribbean record. Treat these months as a baseline, not a promise, and check live conditions the week before you fly.

How this site is checked

One coast, not a country

Everything here is the same stretch of the Yucatán — Cancún, Puerto Morelos, Playa del Carmen, Tulum. One coast checked properly beats a whole country summarised from brochures.

One method for all nine

Every price is the cheapest available total for two adults and one night, taxes and fees included, taken on the same date for every hotel. Change the method between hotels and the comparison stops meaning anything.

Blank means blank

Where a fact wasn't confirmed on the property's own listing, the line simply isn't on the page. Nothing here is filled in with a plausible guess, and no hotel gets a stock photo it didn't publish itself.
